Dr Eugene Wong is a dual-qualified, fellowship-trained consultant in Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) and Facial Plastic Surgery, and a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences of Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS).

He graduated from University of Aberdeen, Scotland and completed his higher surgical training in ENT at University Malaya, Kuala Lumpur and University Hospital Basel, Switzerland. He then completed the prestigious European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery (EAFPS) hands-on fellowship training program in London where he advanced his expertise in facial plastic surgery and passed their board examination.

Dr. Wong has also worked as a research fellow in the renowned Common Cold and Nasal Research Centre in Cardiff University and the Inner Ear Research Laboratory in University Hospital Basel, Switzerland, and has led and coordinated multiple large clinical trials and obtained an MPhil degree for his rhinology research. He has also co-authored two ENT books and continues to actively publish in peer-reviewed journals.
