Professor Alwyn D’Souza is a renowned international expert in Facial Reconstructive and Aesthetic Facial Plastic Surgery (face, head & neck). He is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Having completed specialist training in Otolaryngology (Ear, Nose, Throat / Head and Neck Surgery) he was admitted on the GMC’s specialist register.

On the professional front, Professor D’Souza is the Immediate past President of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery (EAFPS.org), past President of Facial Plastic Surgery UK (FPSUK.org) and current Editor of the Facial Plastic Surgery Journal.  He holds the fellowship of The Royal College of Surgeons of England and Edinburgh and also dual certification by the European as well as the International Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. In addition to this, he is the Editor-in-chief for the peer reviewed ‘Facial Plastic Surgery Journal’ by Thieme publishers. He is an invited speaker to both national and international conferences and is an examiner for postgraduate examinations both in ENT (otolaryngology) and Facial Plastic Surgery.  His fellowship programme provides super-specialist training in Facial Plastic Surgery to suitably qualified surgeons from around the world.
