After completing his specialty in Otorhinolaryngology and Cervino-Facial Surgery in 2006 he held a Fellowship in Facial Plastic Surgery at the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery (www.eafps.org) in 2007-2009. Under the program of the International Federation of Facial Plastic Surgery Societies (www.iffpss.org)

He has been National Delegate of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery since 2009, the most representative European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery (https://www.eafps.org/national-delegates.html).

He is the Coordinator of the Facial Plastic Surgery Commission of SPORL – Sociedade Portuguesa de Otorrinolaringologia e Cirurgia Cervico-Facial (www.sporl.pt).

It is a national and international reference in rhinoplasty, having developed concepts and techniques worthy of peer recognition. It performs between 200 and 300 rhinoplasties per year.

He is author of articles and co-author in reference books in the area of Facial Plastic Surgery.

He is a speaker at national and international Meetings and Congresses in the area; participates as a surgeon in several courses with demonstration of techniques in live surgeries.
